Calvin G Orr - HOT GLASS WORKSHOPS - Learn lampwork beadmaking on a minor burner and create glass beads! Students will use Moretti glass and learn basic shapes, working with dots and surface decorations. There will be demonstrations by Calvin, discussions on safety and various subjects pertaining to glass, but this is a hands-on class. In the fusing class, you will learn to cut glass and piece them to create pendants in the kiln. This is not a technical class but meant to be fun! Results are ALWAYS a pleasant surprise and you go home with several jewelry pieces.
